CM/GC & Early Contractor Involvement (ECI)
Preserving a historic building requires a different approach than ground-up construction. Behind the walls of every older structure are generations of alterations, aging materials, and conditions no drawing fully captures.
That's why we lead historic projects with the CM/GC (Construction Manager/General Contractor) model and Early Contractor Involvement (ECI). By joining owners, architects, and preservation boards from the start, we can investigate existing conditions early, plan realistic budgets and contingencies, and resolve challenges before they become costly surprises, protecting both the building's legacy and our clients' investment.
